Vegetarian diet for climate change

Vegetarians contribute less to carbon footprints, and hence shifting to a vegetarian diet is a good idea. It is good for the animals too, as they don’t get abused, and that meat is also harmful to health. A diet of Lentils, Beans, Milk, Wheat, Nuts provides superior quality of proteins.

Milk is an essential food that cannot be let go due to certain nutrients that come from animal source only. Hence, Vegetarian, and not Vegan.

Plant based meat replacing meat is going to get adapted more with the need to fight climate change. For those who cannot let go off meat due to it being an essential part of their diet, plant based meat is a good replacement option for them. Raw Jackfruit is one example of a replacement having similar texture to that of meat.
